Once the users have permissions, they will be able to create new workbooks from published data sources or modify existing workbooks.

The workbooks and the dashboards are shared either locally or publicly. Tableau Desktop has different connectivity and publishing options, based on these options it is categorized into Tableau Desktop and Tableau Desktop Professional.

The only limitation to creating visualizations in Tableau is your creativity

If you think of something you’d like to do, there’s a good chance someone else has already done it in Tableau, and then you can reverse engineer your dashboard and do it with their data as well.

Take advantage of the experience on how to create dashboards from other Tableau reports!

You won't need to move the data to a Data Warehouse or Data Lake in order to connect the data to other data sources

There is the possibility to combine data directly in Tableau, which means you can combine other data sources with your Salesforce data directly.
