Microsoft Intune
Microsoft Intune is a cloud-based solution that helps with device management and mobile application management. With Microsoft Intune you gain control and security over the organization’s information.
What does it consist?
Microsoft Intune is a cloud-based service that focuses on mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM). You control how devices in your organization are used, including cell phones, tablets and laptops. You can also configure specific policies to control applications.
For example, you can prevent emails from being sent to people outside your organization. Intune also allows people in your organization to use their personal devices for school or work. On personal devices, Intune helps ensure that your organization’s data remains protected and can isolate organizational data from personal data.
What is Microsoft Intune for?
Microsoft Intune is a transversal solution that will allow you to gain control and exercise policies over your collaborators’ devices and those of the company.
Intune integrates with Azure AD to enable a broad set of access control scenarios. For example, require mobile devices to comply with organizational standards defined in Intune before accessing network resources such as email or SharePoint. Similarly, you can block services so that they are only available to a specific set of mobile applications. For example, you can block Exchange Online so that only Outlook or Outlook Mobile can access it.
Other Microsoft Intune Features
You can also use Intune with the other EMS services. This feature provides security for your organization’s mobile applications beyond what is included with the operating system and any application. Applications managed with EMS have access to a broader set of mobile application and data protection features.
